Constructing A Past

This ongoing series examines how family photographs shape memory and identity in the face of absence and silence. Drawing on retrieved snapshots withheld during my childhood, I use reenactment and reinterpretation to construct new narratives that connect me to a lineage I never fully knew. The work questions what it means to belong, and how printed images can offer continuity, visibility, and a history to pass on to future generations.
