Diana Salomon is a mother of four, artist, and educator based in Long Island, NY. Her work investigates memory, identity, and family history through photography, reenactment, and archival practice. A 2025 MFA graduate of Stony Brook University, she has exhibited at the Paul W. Zuccaire Gallery, the SUNY Chancellor’s Office, and Lawrence Alloway Gallery, and is the current Carmela Kolman Fellow at Gallery North. She is also a recipient of the Howardina Pindell Award, the Dorothy Pieper Purchase Prize, the Kusama Award, and recognition from Monochrome Awards, Monovisions, and Analog Sparks. Salomon’s projects explore how printed family photographs—and their absences—shape belonging across generations.
