In my series 'More Than a Mother' series, I embark on a deeply personal journey to uncover and celebrate my identity beyond the role of a mother. These images delve into the profound complexity of being an artist while challenging the pervasive notion that one must choose between being an artist and a mother. Society has often imposed the false dichotomy that to excel in one role, you must sacrifice the other. Yet, I believe in shattering these stereotypes and proving that it's not an 'either-or' scenario. Through this body of work, I seek to debunk the myth that mothers cannot be devoted artists, showing that we can be exceptional both in nurturing our creative passions and in cherishing the precious moments of motherhood.
